JK Audio BlueDriver F3 Bluetooth Wireless Audio Interface

Designed for Electronic News Gathering and other broadcasting purposes, the BlueDriver-F3 from JK Audio lets you record audio and stream it over Bluetooth to smartphones, tablets, and computers. Simply connect a dynamic microphone or the output from a mixer to this slim, sleek device, and you won’t need a dedicated receiver to capture audio downstream.

You can also utilize the BlueDriver-F3 for audio-to-video applications with any compatible video-capture app. Another use-case: take a phone call from your Bluetooth device while recording to conduct high-quality interviews over the phone.

The XLR input can accommodate dynamic microphones, battery-powered lavs, or the output of a mixer. The 3.5mm stereo output is useful for monitoring signal on headphones or IFB earpieces. Use the device to take backup recordings, routing the 3.5mm output to external devices, so you always have a copy of your audio should anything unexpected happen in the realm of Bluetooth.

This unit runs off an internal lithium-ion battery, giving you six hours of operation at a time. A cable with 3.5mm connections is included, and so is a USB charging cable.

Live On-the-Street Interviews. Broadcast high-quality interviews using your favorite mic and headphones. Simply plug BlueDriver-F3 into the bottom of a dynamic microphone, then pair to a cell phone and place a call as usual. This setup allows voice-band, bidirectional audio to and from your cell phone.

Plug BlueDriver-F3 into the mic-level master-audio output of your mixer or CODEC. Pair to your cell phone and then dial into your station. This setup allows voice band audio, through your cell phone, back to the station. The mini cable provided with your BlueDriver-F3 allows you to connect the output from the BlueDriver-F3 to an unbalanced mono or stereo input, thus allowing you to record backup audio on your end, should anything go awry with the Internet or with Bluetooth.

Transmit A2DP Audio. The “Headset” mode of BlueDriver-F3 connects to Bluetooth headphones or wireless speakers, and provides full bandwidth A2DP audio. Simply plug BlueDriver-F3 into your mic output or mixer output, and then then pair the device with your headphones or speaker. Please keep in mind that the 3-pin XLR is a balanced mono connection. BlueDriver-F3 sends the mono XLR signal to both left and right channels of the Stereo A2DP Bluetooth signal. A2DP is a one-way transmission, with nothing coming back on the return channel.

Broadcast High-Quality Audio Through Wireless Link. With a separately available BlueDriver-M3, you can create a full A2DP music bandwidth wireless link with 66′ of range.
