The Intraplex IP Link family of audio codecs provides high-end features at an affordable price. These audio codecs support IP multicast and multiple unicast streams, allowing one encoder to feed multiple decoders.
With dual WAN ports and a separate IP management port, the Dynamic Stream Splicing feature, and an optional hot-standby redundant power supply, the IP Link audio codecs offer a higher level of reliability than other comparably-priced codecs.
Multicoding gives the ability to send linear uncompressed audio on a main STL, while sending the same program out with AAC coding on a lower-bandwidth backup link and MP3 to feed a streaming Web server such as SHOUTcast. A built-in silence sensor and alarm offer a variety of automatic backup options. If total IP connectivity is lost, the system can switch to playout from a plug-in USB drive or from any local audio source connected to the audio inputs on the rear panel.
The IP Link 100 gives a single bi-directional stereo channel, while the IP Link 200 adds a second stereo channel in both directions, with VU meters for each channel, and a front panel user interface.
