Shively FCC Pattern Study for antenna system:
FOR UP TO 48 INCH FACE, TRIANGULAR, UNTAPERED TOWERS
Used to determine the location on the tower for mounting the antenna system AND meeting the FCC envelope. Testing based on interaction between the tower structure and antenna properties. The best patterns derived from the testing will be offered to the customer for comment and approval.
Shively chooses to use scale modeling to offer the most options in recreating the relationship between the antenna and tower. It is much easier to try different mounting positions for the antenna, as well as any intentional parasitic radiators. By modeling the antenna on the test range, it is possible to determine what unwanted interactions might exist and mount the antenna in a way that avoids such problems. Shively has an outdoor pattern test range to test the performance of the antennas.
INCLUDES CUSTOM MOUNTS (see notes below for additional notes) AND PARASITICS AS REQUIRED, PROOF OF PERFORMANCE FOR FILING AND PREDICTED COVERAGE MAP
**NOTES** 1. Custom mounts in a face mount or 2 leg pick up design over 48″ will have $100 per foot per mount added to project price. 2. If antennas require double mounts per engineering, order price will need to be adjusted for the additional costs incurred. 3. If leg mounted on a tower leg of 2″ or less , anti rotation arms will be necessary at an additional price of $225 per mount.
