Telos VX Enterprise VoIP Talkshow System

Telos VX, the world’s first multi-studio VoIP phone system for broadcast, has been putting callers on-air around the world for years. VX Enterprise is the next evolution of VX, now with support for AES67 on a powerful 1RU server platform. It’s scalable to provide its advanced phone interface capabilities to facilities with dozens of studios. VX uses Ethernet as its network backbone, a powerful yet simple way to share phone lines among studios and connect system components.Like the original VX system, VX Enterprise uses Axia IP-Audio networking, connecting multiple channels of audio and control via a single CAT-5 cable. For clients without Axia AoIP networks, Telos Alliance Analog and Mixed Signal Nodes, AES Audio Interfaces and VX GPIO Interfaces provide audio and logic breakout. VoIP Standard SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) works with your VoIP-based SIP PBX and most SIP Telco services. A VX Enterprise can easily have over 100 Direct inward Dial (DID) phone numbers associated with its configuration. Each VX Enterprise Engine can have all of these numbers active at any time, available for callers to ring in. Up to 120 calls may be simultaneously engaged in conversation on-air, with full audio processing. In typical operations one Telos VX Enterprise is sized to handle the typical on-air and off-air calls for 60 or more active studios. The VX Enterprise comes licensed for 24 hybrids, with a capacity of up to 120 hybrids. Actual system capacity may be sized for your station cluster or studio group through licensing in increments of 8 hybrids, and may be expanded as needs change. The VX family of on-air phone systems connects using ethernet and uses the SIP protocol used by just about all PBXs and VoIP providers. Each studio may be configured for a dedicated Program-on-Hold input. Breakthrough Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) capability helps the long-standing problem of echo in open-speaker situations. Each VX Enterprise purchase includes XScreen Lite call screening/management software by Broadcast Bionics. Supports AES67, equipped with Livewire and WAN Ethernet ports, and dual-redundant internal auto-ranging power supplies, 90 – 132 / 187 – 264 VAC, 50Hz/60Hz. 100 Watts.
